NAVET is a Bulgarian contact point for the European Vocational Skills Week 2020
The Week is an annual event during which local, regional or national organisations showcase the very best of vocational education and training (VET). After five editions, the event has become an exchange platform for VET stakeholders all around Europe and beyond.
We are pleased to invite you to take part in European Vocational Skills Week 2020.
HOW CAN YOU BE PART OF THE WEEK?
1. Register your event
Have you organised or are you organising an event or activity that promoted VET? We are keen to hear about it. Register your events/activities on the Week website to have them promoted on the site and potentially featured on social media, newsletters and videos prepared for the Week. On registering, you will receive promotional material and tools to help spread the word about the event/activity through your network.
Organising and event or activity is an excellent way to raise awareness about your work in the field of VET. This year we´re encouraging you to also organise digital events/activities to promote VET – it could be a webinar, digital press campaign, online careers fair, Facebook Live, Instagram Live or another online gathering.
Follow our step-by-step guide to register your event/activity and become an official partner of the European Vocational Skills Week 2020.
Here you will find the Communications Toolkit, as well as other useful toolkits, templates, guidelines and editable documents. The Communications Toolkit is a practical resource for event and activity organisers. It aims to help VET organisers promote European Vocational Skills Week among other stakeholders and the wider public. By using the materials included in this toolkit, you can help to communicate the benefits and opportunities associated with VET across Europe.
2. Share your story
Don’t forget to share your success VET story with others! There’s a special section for this on the European Vocational Skills Week website. Read the stories of organisations and individuals and be inspired by how VET is influencing their lives and their communities. Are you in contact with VET students? Encourage them to send us their success VET stories and inspire other future students all over Europe.
3. Apply for the Excellence Awards
The VET Excellence Awards are a great opportunity to showcase your organisation or share your passion and commitment to vocational education and training. VET excellence can be showcased by recognising committed people, organisations and outstanding projects through rewarding them for their endeavours. If you take part in, organise or support VET, if you believe your activities are of the highest quality and if you think they should be shared with the European VET community, apply here for one of the 2020 Awards for VET Excellence. Be quick: there’s not much time left to apply!
